I’m not sure if blogging is hard, or if I’m making it more difficult than what it needs to be. I really think I’m making it harder on myself than what it needs to be. I just need to focus on what kind of site that I want. Do I want some type of Engadget/Boy Genius/CrackBerry rip off? No.
I don’t necessarily care about being the first one to post a review or new piece of technology on my site. What I do care about is taking those tech news stories, digesting them, and then producing my own point of view from them.
I have two focuses on my blog.
To discuss technology (not only about devices, but technology in news stories)
To progress my 12 in 12
I need to keep those in mind when things start getting out of hand. Because I realize that when I start trying to do too much with my site, that is when I stop doing my site. I don’t want to have a blank site again. That’s happened to me to many times, where I’ve gotten overly excited about my site and tried to do to much only to have it fail (again and again). It’s time to keep it basic.
